Ronnie Ramos

Ronnie Ramos joined the Boxwood team as Chief Financial Officer in October 2022.  A financial executive with over 30 years of diverse financial and operational experience, Ronnie spent the previous ten years as CFO of Shockoe Commerce Group, a diversified e-commerce business.  Prior to this, he owned and operated an HVAC business in Richmond and helped establish an institutional investment consulting practice with the local branch of Morgan Stanley.

Ronnie started his career with LandAmerica Financial Group, a diversified real estate services company and title insurance underwriter, where he rose to the position of Treasurer.  In this role, he worked closely with the C-suite and the Board of Directors raising capital, managing sizeable investment portfolios and pursuing strategic growth initiatives.  Of note, he led the strategic acquisition of Centennial Bank in southern California, serving on its independent Board of Directors as Chairman for nearly 10 years.

Ronnie graduated from the Robins School of Business at the University of Richmond where he earned a B.S.B.A in Finance.

Ronnie is a member of the Finance Committee of the Board of Directors of the United Way of Greater Richmond and has previously served on the Boards of:  LISC Virginia, Sport Backers, The Glen Allen Cultural Arts Center and the Huguenot Little League.

A Richmond native, Ronnie currently resides in Midlothian with his wife of nearly 30 years. They have two adult children that live in the area.
