Experienced Investment Banker and Consultant Joins Growing M&A Firm in Richmond, VA
Richmond, VA – (May 12, 2008) Boxwood Partners, an integrated mid-market investment banking and private investment management firm based in Richmond, VA, is pleased to announce the hiring of Matt Schumacher in the role of Vice President.

Prior to joining Boxwood Partners, Matt was an Associate at Harris Williams & Co., where he executed M&A engagements for leading corporations and private equity firms in a variety of sectors. Previous experience includes work as a Management Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton where he served commercial and government clients in the strategic planning space and as a Military Intelligence Officer in the U.S. Army. Matt earned his M.B.A. from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University and a B.A. in Biology and Psychology from Washington & Jefferson College. He lives in Richmond with his wife and family.
